DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (DCH)
Admission Requirements
Fresh:-  Candidates must possess five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, one subject from Chemistry, Physics, Food and Nutrition or Geography and one subject from Economic, Account, Social Science in not more than two sittings at SSCE, GCE OR NECO.
Duration of the Course: Three (3) Years.
Others: Junior Community Health Workers (JCHEW)s/Certificate in Community Health (CCH) are also eligible to join DCH at 200 level but must possess credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and any other two (2) Credits.

ABRIDGEMENT PROGRAMME IN COMMUNITY HEALTH TO GET DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (DCH)
Admission Requirements
Qualified, registered and Licensed Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) with measurable cognate experience in the practice of Primary Health Care. Apart from the above requirements the candidates must also possess five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, and any other two (2) subjects in not more than two sittings at SSCE, GCE or NECO.
Duration of the Course: 18 weeks.
The course was developed for upgrading the knowledge and skills of practicing Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) to Diploma level. It is an eighteen (18) week programme by course work and written examination. There are a total of 25 courses in the Diploma abridged curriculum as tabulated below.
